In Erwin Wurm’s work, word become sculptural forms in various cases. 
From Size L to XXL in Eight Day is an instructional book exploring weight changes as a volume change and therefore as a sculptural gesture. Cast–Abguss (Eine Skulptur) is an attempt to create the negative cast form of a language through the mirrored translation of a dictionary. In Word Sculptures, a performer stands on a pedestal and enounces the description of a sculpture, inducing mental images for the visitor.
